United's History
United Security Systems was founded
in 1945 by a master electrician,
Joseph J. Lane, upon his return from
World War II and is currently
managed by his son Martin J. Lane.
United has been in business for over
65 years and is now one of the
best-recognized privately held
security companies in the
metropolitan area. United’s own
central station monitoring facility
is located and operated from
United's Security
Headquarters in SOHO, New York.
United is a New York City Fire
Department approved service and
central monitoring station and is
licensed by the State of New York to
install and service fire alarm &
burglar alarm systems.
